Getting to Ann Arbor
By bus

By car
From the north (LANSING, MICHIGAN (~77 mi; take I-96 east to Exit 148A for US-23 South); FLINT (~68 mi) & BRIGHTON (~30 mi), MICHIGAN) Take US-23 South towards Ann Arbor. As you approach Ann Arbor on US-23 South, follow signs for M-14 East/US-23 South, a left exit (towards Toledo). After a short distance, M-14 and US-23 will split, with US-23 South going off to the right. Follow signs for US-23 South towards Toledo and continue to Exit 35 (I-94 exit). Take I-94 West (towards Chicago) to Exit 177 (State St., ~2.3 mi) and at the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto S. State Rd. Go ~1.5 miles to 4840 S. State Rd., on the right side of the road (see Notes, below).
From the south (TOLEDO, OHIO, ~50 mi) Take US-23 North toward Ann Arbor. Take Exit 35 and follow I-94 West towards Chicago to Exit 177 (State St.). At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto S. State Rd. Go ~1.5 miles to 4840 S. State Rd., on the right side of the road (see Notes, below).
From the west (JACKSON, MICHIGAN (~39 mi); BATTLE CREEK, MICHIGAN (~80 mi); KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN (~102 mi); CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (~245 mi)) In Michigan, take I-94 East towards Detroit to Exit 177 (State St.). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto S. State Rd. Go ~1.4 miles to 4840 S. State Rd., on the right side of the road.
Parking
Street parking is available and meters are enforced Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM. Structure parking is available at Republic Parking System (324 Maynard St. Ann Arbor, 48104) and Liberty Square (500 E Washington St. Ann Arbor, 48104).

We are open for afternoon (generally start around 4 PM)
and evening (generally start around 7 PM) screenings at the Michigan & State. Hours vary based on film schedule.
Theater doors open 30 minutes before the stated film start time unless otherwise indicated.
When do you announce the upcoming film schedule?
Times and ticket links for the upcoming Friday through Thursday film schedule are available on Wednesday afternoons (generally around 3 PM).
Box office hours
The Box Office typically opens one half-hour before the first showtime of the day for in-person ticket purchases.
How do I purchase a ticket online?
From our Film Series page, click the poster of the film you want to see. From there, choose the “Showtimes & Tickets” button on the film page. Or visit our Calendar and click on the “More” button under the film you want to see.
How do I apply a promo code?
To redeem your promo code, proceed as normal in buying a ticket from the film page. Click the box “Know A Promotion Code?” located above the Select Ticket Quantity section and enter the code. When the code is applied, the discounted ticket pricing option will appear.
Select the number of tickets and proceed to buy.
Ticket returns
Tickets can be returned within one hour of the screening start time.
Distribution agreements do not allow for refunds to be processed after the screening begins.
Member benefits to online purchases
You must be logged in to your member account in order to apply your membership benefits to your order.
