Be one of 100,000 film fans in more than 100 cities to
judge the 12 finalists in the Manhattan Short Film Festival.
The Michigan Theater will be the venue for one show only,
Saturday, September 27 at 7 pm.
For one week in September, organizers of the 11th annual
competition hold nearly 300 screenings in 115 cities around
the world from St. Petersburg, Russia to Melbourne, Australia.
Their mission: To unite audiences around the world via the
most creative short films in the world.
Audience members will receive a voting card on entry to
the Michigan Theater. At the end of the screening,
they’ll be asked to choose the film they liked best.
Votes will be tallied by members of the Michigan Theater
staff and submitted to Manhattan Short headquarters.
The winner will be announced in New York City on Sunday,
Sept. 28 and posted on the festival web site at ManhattanShort.com.
This may be your ONLY chance to be a film festival judge
- come to the Michigan Theater on Saturday night.
Admission is $9.00, $7.00 for students, seniors and US veterans,
$6.50 for Michigan Theater members. All shows take
place at the historic Michigan Theater, 603 E. Liberty Street,
across from Borders Books and Music in downtown Ann Arbor.
