The Michigan Theater needs you!

The Michigan Theater Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to operate, preserve, and maintain the historic Michigan Theater for the benefit of the community and the arts. Established to save the theater from demolition in 1979, we work every day to raise the considerable funds needed to maintain our beautiful theater and its programs. The people of Ann Arbor have been supporting the historic Michigan Theater with their gifts of money and time since 1979. Please consider joining them!

There are many ways that you can help:

Memberships grant you outstanding benefits, and you can choose from a variety of levels.

Donations help pay for everything from a marquee letter to a new projector bulb.

Sponsorships, both corporate and individual, help keep the Michigan Theater active and vibrant.

Volunteers usher, assist in the office, and help on special projects.

The Towsley Society recognizes cumulative gifts to the theater of $5,000 and more.

Seat Sponsorship Donors commemorate loved ones with name plates on available theater seats.
